Chips: 349 | | | Dunes question While the Dunes chips have history, Vegas, closed down casino, great looking chip, Paulson exotic mold, etc. it seems the chip is easy to obtain. Not saying they are cheap but you can get them. Would it be safe to say that sooner or later it won't be easy to find them and thus their value will increase?

The collectors know that there are literally hundreds to thousands out there, though, so you won't see a price spike. |

Chips: 349 | | | Re: Dunes question So why are the $5, 25 and 100 Dunes chips expensive considering how easy it is to get them? I'm confused about the fact they are a nice and obsolete chip, yet pricey and many to go around for everyone? |

Chips: 1,052 | | | Re: Dunes question It's all relative. The Dunes 'golf course' series chips are only expensive in terms of home sets. In terms of obsolete casino chips available as full sets, they're actually quite moderately priced.

Chips: 1,052 | | | Re: Dunes question The Dunes. Since the casino is closed, they are considered obsolete. No more are being made. Others available as chipsets are primarily off-shore as in Condado Beach, Ambassador Plaza, Wyndham Old San Juan, Americana Aruba. There are Crystal Park, St. Jo and other mainland chipsets too. Then there are those for casinos that never opened like the Palmas, Winner Club and PNY chips.
