Reference for closed casino and # of chips released?
Does anyone know of a reference or website that has info on the number of chips released from a closed casino? Not just US casinos like the Vineyards or Dunes but international casinos from Puerto Rico as well.

You can get a copy of The Official Casino Chip Guide which has rarity ratings for each chip which give you an idea of how many there are but you can not count on that.
You never know when someone might show up with a shoebox full of them and you loose you butt on some (you thought) rare chip.
I had a $5 Thunderbird 1st edition that there was only suppose to be three of and a guy shows up at the convention with a box full of them and is selling them for $40 a chip. That chip was worth $800-$1600. What the freak!

If you find one, let me know....
Chances are you will never find such information. Unless the information is disclosed through a public process (like an auction of property following a bankruptcy, or lawsuit situation). Manufacturers and owners alike have always held that information in secrecy.

If you are talking about the yellow chip with the black inserts, I have 4 of them. My sister picked them up for me while she was in Arizona on her Honeymoon 2 years ago. Pretty cool sister eh?
