Capitol City Casino

Does anybody have any info on these chips? I would love to get my hands on a large set of them.

TIA

Re: Capitol City Casino

I found this reference on the Fakes, Fantasys and Counterfeits page of the CC&GTCC:

http://www.ccgtcc.com/fantasy/images/capitolcity.jpg

It says that they were made for a casino that failed to get a license and were then sold from the Paul-Son retail stores, or, they were made by Paul-Son for sale at their retail stores.

The fact that they have no indication of location and use the standard Paul-Son non-casino use inserts color schemes, makes be suspect that they are just another fantasy set made by Paul-Son for sale in their long-gone retail stores.

Re: Capitol City Casino

There is a "Captiol Casino" here in Sacramento. If that is what you are referring to, let me know, and I'll grab a few from there next time I'm there. (about once a week).

They have 1, 3, 5, 25 and 100's I believe.

Here is a link to John Kallman's California Card Room Chip Guide site. He shows about 4 different Capital Club chips.

Are these the chips you are referring to, Harlequin11?

Thanks. But no. I was looking for the ones from the first link you sent. Apparently they are (ND). I have some of the $5 on the right that blew me away when I saw them.

They phased out the Chipsos that were at one time used (pictures in the link from GO), and I've never seen the .50 cent chip, but may be on the BJ table or something.

Like I said, let me know if this is the casino you are looking for, I'll grab what ever chips you want from there and send them your way.
