Linked below is the webpage of the CC>CC, Inc.'s 2006 Annual Bruce Landau Memorial Auction. This year's auction, to be held at the Annual Convention on Thursday, 29 June, 2006 will include approximately 179 lots.

Under Nevada law, the auction is operated as a private auction and is not open to the public. CC>CC, Inc. memebrship is a requirement to attend and also to bid by e-mail.
I am posting this information and link for those who are interested in seeing some fine examples of chips, checks, jetons and plaques from around the World and most certainly from the casino memorabilia Mecca; Las Vegas, Nevada!
By going to the linked webpage, you will see 6 - .pdf links, each of which will download a .pdf section of the color auction guide. Each lot being offered is depicted in a hi-res scan, along with a brief description and cataloging of the item(s) (including an estimated value).
I encourage everyone to download one of the sections and get a glimpse of some really nice stuff. While there, you will also see some everyday stuff, as the auction is intended to be inclusive of all our members, new and old, wealthy and my level alike!
This annual auction is named after long-time CC>CC member Bruce Landau (and a Hall of Fame member), who was the key figure in development of the auction for many years. Bruce passed away several years ago, but I was lucky enough to know him and have many conversations and e-mail exchanges with this remarkable person, who always had a story.
Anyway, please take a look and let me (others) know what you think.
Thanks,
Jim (Gaming Ore) Follis
