Hey, anyone out there have any scans of chips from Macau or anywhere else in Asia?
Just read an article about casino development in Singapore too. Just wondering if anyone has seen the chips, us being chipgeeks and all....
CC>CC member Fran Alejandre (Spain) maintains a website of his collection. These are what he has from Macau. Mostly jetons.

I've got a few from there. I havent gotten to the scanning yet but the Sands Macau are the plain mold chips (B et G). I think they are great looking chips. I'll post some pix when I catch up on the scanning.
Here are some of the jetons used there, including some from one of the newly opened casinos... If someone would be kind enough to explain to me how to upload larger pics I would be thrilled to do so. I know how to upload to PhotoBucket, but I am told that my pics are too large when I attempt to post them here

You need to resize your pictures. Here is an article that explains it.

Thanks Nanook,I actually got determined to figure it all out right after I made that post, and now have it solved. Here is a larger version of the same photo.
Did you know Macau has an area of 10ish square miles and growing? They keep adding land to make more casinos. There's two more going to be opened in '07, and Macau already does more business than Vegas.
And there's 500,000 people living in that area.
I have friends who are missionaries in Macau, it seems to be a very interesting place.
I am heading to that part of the world tonight. I will try to scoop a few chips if I get a chance. If I get any, I will post pictures when I get home in about 3 weeks.
