You bet!
For those who are familiar with Burning Man and Black Rock City (BRC), Nevada, here are a couple of unusual "Nevada" chips in my collection of oddities.
One of the recurring participants at Burning Man is a person who is in to Jazz, Booze and Gaming. In 2001 and 2003 he was at Burning Man with Amazing Larry's Lucky 7 Ages of Man, The Cube Club (2001) a temporary structure in the shape of a pair of dice, housing a jazz venue, a bar and gaming area with roulette and craps, and most importantly, CHIPS!!!! (In 2003, it was the Mirage Club.)
The chips are from both years and are a peculiarity in my collection, as they are "Nevada" chips, used for gaming, but not authorized by Nevada Gaming! I find them interesting and know of no others, although more likely exist.
However, according to Burning Man convention, everything brought there is to be burned on the final night. The Cube Club was burned to the ground, but it is unknown if the gaming tables and chips were also burned.
Thanks for looking.
