I recently went to Vegas and picked up a $1 chip from nearly every major casino. I almost lost a foot in the process.

How long did it take to make the rounds to pick up all of those? And what's the story about the foot?

How long did it take to make the rounds to pick up all of those? And what's the story about the foot?
It took about 10 hours or so. This was before I disovered the monorail. We walked from Bally's, to downtown LV. From downtown to Bellagio, then over to Palms and Rio and back to strip. Then down to Mandalay Bay. I was wearing horrible shoes and my right foot actually started to swell up and turned a little blue. I stayed swollen for the rest of the trip.
Great collection. Did you have to purchase a large qty at each casino then cash them in except 1 at a different window?
No. Just walk up and ask for a $1 clay chip. Make sure you say clay or you might get a coin. Most of the cashiers seemed like they were used to people asking for these as souveniers and some even layed out a bunch and let me pick the newest ones.
