They're styrene chips that were available from many retail outlets in the mid 80's. I think they were produced in Hong Kong at the time. Don't know if they have any actual collector's value, but if I remember, they sold for anywhere from 5 to 15¢ each depending upon the store.

Funny thing is I was gonna ask about these after I won.
I saw someone was selling them for $3.00 each but mainly wanted the box.
