As an interesting side note to this subject... There are some dyed in the wool stalwarts in the chip collecting hobby, who feel that Limited Edition chips are the bane of chip collecting. Mean while, the explosion of Limited Edition chips has brought a lot of new collectors into the hobby and quite a few of them are only interested in those Limited Edition chips.
Very similar to the NRA concept of they can pry my gun from my cold dead hands (or however it is stated), a motto of the "no more LE" stalwarts was, if they issue a Ground Hog day chip, I'm leaving the hobby!
Well, the Four Queens shortly there after issued a Ground Hog Day chip, no one left the hobby for it, but the chip remains a mini-icon in the hobby.
