Paulson Vineyards

Since I have apparently remmebered how to win at poker again (11 winning months last year, losing December, losing January but winning again this month!), I have decided to waste some money on some nice chips. The Paulson vineyard chips have caught my eye, because they are very sharp looking, and are available in some interesting denominations (2$, 3$, etc). They are expensive, but I don't mind spending some money, if I can buy them in pieces & not have to drop $1k+ all at once. The problem is that I'm not much of a chip expert.

Luckily, you guys are!

So, I've decided to do some research, hopefully with some help from you chipheads. I am intersted in learning whatever I can about these chips. When did they first become available? What have prices done since (risen I'm sure, but are they plateaued now)? What I should look to pay for the various denomiations? Are there better places to try to find these for sale than ebay?
I'm going to bargain hunt these a handful at a time I think, and even if I never get a playable set, it will be fun trying to collect them. I am mostly intersted in building small stakes cash game sets, as the prices really seem to rise for $20+ denominations.

Also, I was unable to locate any fractionals. I would like to have .25 chips in case I want to play $25 NL. Any suggestions here?

$2 $2-$5

$5 $3-$5
$10 $65 to $75
$20 $8 to $10
$25 $35 to $45
$100 4 spot and 8 spot up to $7 each.
$500 $250 to $275
And if you want to pay more than anyone on the planet just go see the "joker" on ebay.

Re: Paulson Vineyards

I have picked some of these up off ebay, but I am still looking for more, if anyone has any of these for sale. I am most interested in $2, 3$ & $20 chips, but am definately willing to look at any demons for the right price (other than $500s, hah!). Let me know if you have any of these for sale =)

Re: Paulson Vineyards

I remember finding the approximate #s of each denominations produced for these chips on the internet at one time, but I can't find anything now. Does anyone have these #s off the top of their heads? I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

jvs
