Chips: 30 | | | Re: New Poker Chip added to the collection Sorry for posting this in the wrong place Ten. I am still learning..
Anyways, I paid $19. Probably over priced, but I love it. There is also an all orange Paulson with white edge spots that is awsome. Just want to add these to the collection. I thought it would be a cool little piece of poker history so I purchased 2. |

Chips: 10,507 | | | Re: New Poker Chip added to the collection Nice addition! The 1995 equivilent is valued around $50. I suspect that this might be the same, but I can verify later. Congrats! Also, and perhaps you've noticed, but that PaulSon mold is referred to as the Reverse Hat and Cane (RHC) mold, as every 4th hat and canes is reversed (the ones at the 2 and 8 o'clock positions in your pic).

Thanks for the background. I did not see the reverse mold on the chip!! Was the chip worth the price in your opinion? |

So, what to do with the other???? Want a trade offer? LMK,

Jim (Gaming Ore) Follis | Nevermind, I see the RHC's now. Very cool... didn't know that. |

Jim (Gaming Ore) Follis | Hi Jim, a quick clarification. Do you know why some come with the RHC mold and some not? Is it a specific time period or something like that? I just noticed my Marvel Paulsons have the RHC mold and I've never noticed that before. |

Chips: 10,507 | | | PaulSon Reversed Hat and Cane Mold info... As described at Robert Eisenstadt's excellent webpage of molds, it is believed that when PaulSon started using the wider graphic inlays, they eliminated the ring around the hat and cane mold and then moved the hats out towards the edge of the chip.
No explanation as to why two hats got reversed.
Here is the link to that fabulous site: http://www.antiquegamblingchips.com/...gn_manmade.htm
