Chips: 3,007 | | | Hilton NCV - Is this real? I am new to chip collecting and check out ebay every so often for uncommon chips that fancy me. No real collecting strategy..
The item below caught my attention http://cgi.ebay.com/100-NO-CASH-VALU...QQcmdZViewItem
Anyone know if these are real?
(I don't see a molding on them)
Any additional info like years maybe that it was in play?
Thanks !!

It may be a good deal if they are legit.

Michael | I'm not so sure about it being for 100 chips, my take is that it's for just one chip. Here is the auction's wording "100 NO CASH VALUE ( One Chip ), Las Vegas Hilton"
While I do not see "100" on the face of the chip, meaning that it could be for 100 of these, his One Chip in parentheses leads me to think it's just for that one chip.

Chips: 1,728 | | | Re: Hilton NCV - Is this real? Forgive me, but I'm quite amused at this speculation. The seller must be a member of this site as the auction has been amended to indicate that it is for one chip only. $15 for a hundred chips ... methinks someone has their mind on Chinese chips. The reason that you don't see the 100 denomination on the chip is because the denomination is on the other side of the chip. Apparently the seller only saw fit to take a picture of one side of the chip (maybe he's not a member here after all .) In any case, Paul Hegge has a picture of the red chip on the listing of LV Hilton issues at http://www.silver-state-treasures.co...s/lvhilton.htm Quote: |

Chips: 10,507 | | | Re: Hilton NCV - Is this real? Although the auction has closed, without a buyer, this chip is definately a Hilton issue when Let It Ride was first licensed for play. When first introduced to the casinos, leasing the Let It Ride games also meant using the "official" Let It Ride chips. Not necessarilly RTP, but Let It Ride chips also existed for the Four Queens and at least one other Nevada casino.
As the game developed it became leaseable without the chips and regular house chips could be used.
The chip offered here is was done so at the low price guide value. As I've stated before, price guide values are retail in nature. This means that for the most part, if you want the chip, you can generally just go out and buy it at that price.
This auction held no special deal. Also, the value of the Let It Ride chips are enhanced by having a set (one of each denomination) and not just one chip.
