Chips: 47 | | | Aviation Club Chip? Anyone have an idea of where I can get an Aviation Club de France chip? I've actually visited the place, but I wasn't dressed in my Sunday best for roaming around Paris, and they wouldn't let me in. I'd love to get a chip as a souvenir, but I really cannot seem to find a place selling one. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

-Steve | I remember that there was someone that designed some very nice looking chips after that casino. Just do a search for aviation and you will see several threads. CT member imthatguy was the guy, I believe. Anyway do the search yourself and maybe you can contact him. He might have one or two.

-Steve | Is this what you mean? I received this in a trade recently, but would let you have it for $10 shipped US or $11 Europe. I saw the $5 go for $12 a couple weeks ago.
They must be hard to get? |

It's just that there aren't a lot of people who go to Paris to gamble, and a lot of Americans are surprised at the cover charge that European casinos sometimes have. BTW thats 5€ not $5. I'd suspect that if it weren't for the WPT TV show, most people wouldn't even know that the Aviation Club existed. Quote: |

From your Start Menu, pick "Run . . ." and type in "charmap".
That gives you a little table of all the characters, which you can select, copy, and paste into your post

Chips: 1,728 | | | Re: Aviation Club Chip? It's ASCII 128 in this font (and most common fonts.) In Windows go to Start =>Programs => Accessories => System Tools => Character Map. Some type fonts may not have a Euro sign, so you'll want to check and comfirm it's ASCII value before using it.
And yeah, I tend to use some of the more obscure characters like © ® ™ º¢ and €, so they're kinda automagic when typing . Quote: |
