Chips: 1,033 | | | Like BG, matsui, bud jomes is a frontrunner in the high class chip race. Oddly, they hearken to the 11.5 cheapies. But, there is really no comparison.
To me it's amazing the patterns they get w/ their injection process. I would mimic these if I had customs done - although, barring a GB, I can't see actually getting BG, matsui, or bud jones- probably a fake printed n chipcos or NJ ceramic. |

Chips: 7,134 | | | The $2.50 is pink. I have one.
Personally I like the BJ chips at Borgata and Harrah's. I don't mind clays for a home game or whatever... people I know, but I don't wanna look at years upon years of filth in my hands.
What's odd is that Harrah's AC has BJ chips for their $1, $5, $25, $500, $1000, and $5000 chips... but Paulson clays for their $100. What's pathetic is that I usually buy in for $200 at a craps table... but at Harrah's I buy in for $500 just to get the Paulsons in my rack. I need help. |

Chips: 7,134 | | | I also think Borgata has a special insert in these chips in the event they decide to go with one of those automated systems that has the computer read how much you're betting... I dunno why... it's not like Borgata gives any comps anyways. |

Chips: 1,141 | | | I actually noticed this too,
all there chips are bud jones, even the black 100
but i saw one table (must be a high roller or some special table) that had all clay no edge spot chips. I saw a black one that was 100 and several others. I actually thought they looked gorgeous, being very clean and matt finished. |

Chips: 1,141 | | | Yeltzen, can u post the $2.5 chip please
Years of filth is a major problem with clay casino chips but they are more noticable with ones that have engravings in them like those at the Taj Mahal. Clay chips with giant inlays tend to be very clean, since they have a much more smooth surface, and the gloss on the inlay alows it for easy cleaning | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
