Does anyone have or can get an Atlantic City $1 chip set together from the 12 hotels?
They are on eBay of course but I would rather not pay that much.
I am in NY so for anyone in Jersey, shipping would be cheap. |

Anyone near a casino could offer up what chips they can get and people could order sets from them and pay for them including actual shipping. I have 2 casinos near me that I can get chips from if interested and coins for a few race tracks for all those slot lovers out there. |

I'd do it too. I live near Canterbury Card Club and Mystic Lake casinon in MN. I could easily pick up some of those $1's.
What would really make it work well would be to put together a list formatted of who the different chiptalk members were that would offer up this and what they had available and for what price.
I think that there would have to be something in it for those that were sending out the chips. I think that it is generally accepted amongst chippers that there is some value to actually going to the casino and getting the chips and then packaging them and getting to the post office.
We would be just doing it for other members as kind of a curtesy, but if I were to do it, I would want just a little something.

AB | Well I would be more then willing to pay something for the time it would take to get some cool new chips or do strait trades from local chips here.
Anyway if anyone wants to put pic of what they can get and what they would want I am more then willing to look it over. Personally I would be interested in .50 or $1 chips or any theme chips that are out there.  |

| | | I'm going to Atlantic City in a few weeks and although I will be pocketing a bunch of chips, I personally don't really want to sell them, and I'm not interested in trying to build a complete set. However, I would love to do some trading, and I may start a thread to that effect when I'm back with chips in hand. If anyone has any requests for chips from the Tropicana, let me know. I'll probably mostly be playing there, but I'd like to make it over to the Borgata, since their chips are so great (yes, that's the only reason). |
