Not saying that this is what he was doing, but...
I've known many people that start their online presence driving people to a free blog or facebook page to then go on to their own sponsor driven website. It's easier to drive people to your website once you have a captured audience, especially when that audience was free.

lol, my sentiments exactly. I came to this thread hoping to see Christmas-themed chips, thank God abby and imperial rescued it! Great chips!

That was my suspicion. Why else would you be so vehement about it?

That's the reason I was annoyed by it. Again, not that HE was doing it but I've seen it so many times. That and I like to keep my chips stuff here and by facebook antics on facebook. That's like playing poker with your wife
(that's actually a joke because I do like player poker with her )

BTW, I have the 12 Days of Christmas set from the Stateline Saloon in Amargosa Valley, NV. A sweet set of chips, indeed!

Re: Christmas themed chips
So these aren't really chips, but not totally off topic...
I've had the strikes for 6 or 7 years... Just never got around to picking up the frame until recently. It arrived today and is on my cube wall at work.
Closeup of St. Nick.
I'm not a huge Silver Strike fan, but I got most of these when my wife took me to Vegas and stayed at the Palms for Christmas before we had kids. She just drove me to the airport and she gave me my card that had our tickets inside! It was a great time.

Wow, I think that's the nicest holiday / special event set I've ever seen. Thanks for putting them up!
