Post some chips from your hometown poker room!

Post some chips from your hometown poker room! Lets see some scans of chips used at your local card rooms today!

Heres mine, The Poker Room is located in St Johns (St Augustine) near the Duval County line. The GO black chip was givin away to players on opening day. The black chip with the royal flush hand was givin to players who got a royal flush at the card room, or if your freinds with the GM

Right after this post im leaving to go to the new card room opening today at Orange Park Kennel Club. The two places are owned by the same company. I will post the new chips later today in the "new release" section.

Re: Post some chips from your hometown poker room!

Same chip... both sides. The two casinos are about a mile apart, run by the same tribe. The Chipco chips are used in the poker room (only at del Sol), while the rest are Paulsons (I don't play blackjack, so I don't have an easy way to get any of those).

There is a red $5 and a green $25, but those come out very infrequently. They are the same design, only different colors.

Primarily $2-$4 limit, $3-$6 limit and $2 to $20 spread limit are the games that are run there, so the $1 is really the only chip you see in play there unless there is something special being spread.

There are no no-limit games there (I think it is an Arizona thing), so I doubt you'd see any of the others in regular use.

There is also a yellow $2 chip that is used for the rake, but once in a while a $6-$12 limit game is spread and they come out in quantity for that. Quite a sight to see a table full of yellow.

There is another place, the Desert Diamond. I haven't play there as the room has a higher rake than del Sol (so I have been told). Additionally, it has been said that the room itself is quite dark and kind of hard to see what's going on. I guess at some point I should probably actually go there and see what it's all about. It's a little closer to where I live....

yeah, me too. I guess the $10 and $20 chips are the older ones, because they're made on another mold.

Here are the ones in Indiana........

Indiana.....riverboats that don't leave dock, Horse tracks with slot rooms and the lottery. But hey, poker is gambling and gambling is illegal, so no card rooms.

Re: Post some chips from your hometown poker room!

Well, it was my hometown before last year, prior to moving to Houston. Here are chips from the various casino poker rooms in Edmonton, AB, Canada. I played mostly at the Casino Edmonton poker room.

Well, I was born in Detroit, so technically, it's my "hometown"--

Exactly. Other than the riverboats on the edges of the state (and the new French Lick Casino), Indiana has no card rooms. Had a couple of illegals in the last couple of years, but they were busted and closed down. All used HS dice chips.
We get slots at the Horse Tracks (but that's not gambling), we have the lottery (but that's not gambling), but POKER is GAMBLING.
No bitterness here.......I need to move
