Post pics of your most valuable, most expensive and favorite collectible chips!

I'm certain that there are people here who have some stunning chips in their collection, in multiple ways. Here's your chance to pick out the cream of the crop to share. There are three categories.

First, the chip in you collection that is the most valuable, based on price guides... even better if it's so off the wall that it's not in a guide!

Second, the chip you unloaded the most on to get (either in cash form or having to do some serious trading to get).

Third, and finally, the one chip that is your favorite. The one in your collection that gives you a warm fuzzy feeling.

A single chip may qualify for multiple, or even all categories. It's also possible to have multiple chips fall in any one category.

Break out with the scanner, the camera, whatever and start sharing the pr0n!

Re: Post pics of your most valuable, most expensive and favorite collectible chips!

I'll start.

Most valuable:
It's not in TCR at all and C&W has it around $1000 if memory serves.

Most paid:
Actually, a tie... this one and the one above (in the valuable category).

Favorite:
I really love the burgundy color and the gold hot stamp on this one. It's just really pretty. I usually bounce around on my favorite with this and the Flamingo 50-cent chip (better scan soon). Right now the California Club is taking the cake. It's just lovely to see and to hold.

Re: Post pics of your most valuable, most expensive and favorite collectible chips!

I focus my collecting on $1 Las Vegas chips.

Highest book value: $1 Four Queens 1st issue Arodie in slightly used condition valued at $350

Most paid: $1 Hacienda 1st issue Small Key in average + condition - paid $225

Favourite: So hard. I can't just pick one, so I won't. It is one of these though, I'm a sucker for scalloped inlays, and 1/4 and 1/8 pie chips, and old chips and... (some cheap, some not)

This last picture is courtesy of Silver State Treasures - I do have one in my collection, but have not indexed it yet so no picture.

And to take it one step further and add in the chip I really want, which would be my most expensive, most valueable and favourite:
(picture again courtesy of Nevada Chip Pictures)

Re: Post pics of your most valuable, most expensive and favorite collectible chips!

I'm am very new at collectible chips, but I did put these together recently

Was luckly enough to find a uncirclated $1 on ebay to complete the set and it didn't break my bankroll.

Nice chips everyone!

Most valuable>
Here's one of my most valuable chips based on the C&W book. It's listed as an R8 with a value per C&W of: Avg =$600, SU= $1000 and New = $1800. I'd say this chip is between AVG and SU.

Most Paid> I don't have a scanned, but its a 50c Golden Gate 1/4 pie chip in the small crown mold.

My Favorite> Tough to chose, but these are probably my favorite 2:

I paid about 530 for that....

I just missed a 800$ Dunes chip cause I was out of my office...

Ill probably never see that one sold again for about 10 years and it will be about
500$ more expensive probably...
