Curzon House Club pics, plus a question....

Here are some of the plaques and jetons I have from The Curzon House Club. I have a bunch more, but I honestly could not fit another jeton on my scanner if I tried , so I just picked my favorites of each denom I had alot of.

I was also wondering, if I wanted to run a contest for ChipTalk users (no charge to enter, probably a jeton or casino chip for prizes), and wanted the maximum amount of people to see it here, where would I post it ?

Justin, ChipTalk has a special "Contest" Forum. At the top of the page you should see the "General Poker" hot link. Under it is the "Contests and Tournaments" forum.

Go there, post your contest, then you can come back here and post that you have posted a contest.

We like contests!

Very cool set. I have seen that you have posted a lot of Jestons and Plaques lately about how many do you own? I myself have never held or played with a jetson so there is a little mystery to them for me at least.

I haven't counted in quite a long time, but I would guess about 125+ different casino plaques, and over 500 jetons. Maybe even closer 750, but I honestly don't count . Is TOO MANY a number?

Justin, would you mind if I posted an image of the 3 CHCs I own here in your thread? One of them is pretty neat; the other two are in your collection, I think.

Would I mind? Of course not! I like looking at other people's jetons much more then looking at my own

Hey! How 'bout a quick reminder here?...

"Jeton" is French for what?...

Justin, I have my contest shoes on. Anything new?

"Jeton" is technically a generic term that translates to "token" in English. For casinos it sorta got assigned to the thinner plastic/acrylic chips used for French Roulette and Baccarat mostly.
As for the contest, I just posted it. You should be able to nail the 1st question pretty easily.....

Forgot to get back to this to add the three CHCs I own:

The halfcrown chip (the yellow one) in particular is one of my favorites, for its uniqueness. Gotta love Wikipedia for teaching you about stuff that was unknown to you before
