Re: My Newest Addition & I Could Not Be Happier!!

Nice set Joshua, hope you didn't use all the paid entry fees to your upcoming tourney to pay for it, lol!

I share your feeling, though not as rare as your addition, I think I FINALLY got my Feb 2006 Hoot chip to complete that set. Just sent payment off today.

I learned a lesson, never say "man I have been wanting that chip forever!" before asking how much.....

Congrats on the find!

Agreed, the $1 is readily available, but mint condition is very elusive.

If you don't mind me asking (just for learning purposes) what made you decide to collect this particular set, since you said you only collect only a couple of non tourney sets?

Just started looking for this set about a year ago, the $1 in my set is also very worn, but the others are unused.

I love the $1, as well as the rest of your set there. Seeing them together makes a very very nice pictures.

Excellent job.

I mainly have playable sets, but I love the history of the Dunes, and I also love the Bellagio(probably my favorite vegas hotel) which stands on the site of the Dunes. Plus, they are house mold shaped inlay Paulsons, so you can't go wrong.

Very good, I always like to ask people why they pick certain sets, I have learned some amazing things about certain chips that way.

The Bellagio is a very, very nice Hotel. We usually go to the Venetian because of special offers they give us. Our first visit to Las Vegas we stayed there, and I did very well playing blackjack and poker, and my wife, amazingly, won quite a bit on slots.

We got our room comped, several meals, and a pass into the VIP lounge. They even bought us a plane ticket home so we could stay a couple of days extra (our ticket was non-refundable so it was trash)

For an average guy like me it was very cool! We got to act like rich people for a few days, lol. Ever since then they send offers for free rooms and such almost every month. Hard to try out new hotels when the stay is free at the Venetian. Always wanted to try the Bellagio though. That greenroom (they call it something else) is amazing!

Very nice! We stayed at the Venetian on our last visit, and I was blown away by the size of our room. Twice as big as our room at the Bellagio. My fiance seems to have a thing for the Bellagio spa, though, and we always find our way there for the BEST BUFFET in the WORLD!!
