Re: 7th's Thread of Molds. PICS OF 91 DIFFERENT MOLDS.

This is not the variation that I was referring to. And for me,, it is another new variation.

Von, I'd suggest that you let TheChipBoard.com community in on this. Although I suspect that some of them are alraedy in the know, it will not hurt to spread the wealth of knowledge.

The variation I noted, as pointed out by 7th, is a hub pattern that is slightly larger in over all diameter. When I pointed this out on TheChipBoard, it was noted that Howdy Herz was putting together a publication of such mold variations and the one I noted was already documented. I suspect that yours is as well, but hey, in the absence of spreading the word at no cost, please feel free to make your observation more well known.

AND 7th, just so you don't think I'm hijacking your thread, I have a suggestion for you...

Instead of revising your OP, and me keeping it as a Sticky, will you please consider doing your Mold Project as an article for ChipTalk? May as well get some writing credit (and some chips!) and we can position the article where more CT'ers can read it!

Please consider doing this as an article.

Thanks,

J(GO)F

Re: 7th's Thread of Molds. PICS OF 91 DIFFERENT MOLDS.

Thanks Jim,
I am actually thrilled there is more variations out there. I guess I have to continiue my search for the hub's.

The article:
It is a very good thought and I will consider it.
The writing scares me a lot though since I feel I am pretty bad at it.
Is it posible to eddit an article when I get new molds?

Re: 7th's Thread of Molds. PICS OF 94 DIFFERENT MOLDS.

7, you've done a kicka$$ job with this guide. I love the new layout. It reminds me, though, that you have a couple of the Paulson molds mixed up. In the row that starts with the Sonoma chip, the two at the end are reversed. The Monte Carlo is Paulson alternating H&C, and the El Cortez is the Paulson SCV H&C.

THANKS ROSE!
It was good that you found this error

I have corrected it now and also checked through the other molds to see if there where any more errors. I couldn't found any though.
