Images on the screen are tricky some times. You did make me very curious for a while though |

The Edwards brothers split and formed 2 companies. Both sold the mold for awhile. When Mark Lighterman and I found the H mold records At Marion & Co in Miami , he had bought out one of the brothers who sold on the mold for roughly 7 years. The other brother sold out to a guy in NY. I can't remember his name but Jim Episale will know it if he reads this. That guy just retired and I guess we have lost the rest of the records. HC Edwards owned the 'H' mold and sold the chips from that mold.
All the chips were made by Burt Co. Jim Blanchard purchased the rights to the mold so that Atlantic Standard (formerly Burt) could continue to use it. |

I was able to partially identify the Triangles/Cloves mold on a chip that Debby Meister just sent me, from this! I've used Robert Eisenstadt's excellent reference page before too, but having this thread here is like one-stop shopping. I'll be posting the scan I did for three chips I can't fully identify in the proper forum later, but I thought you'd get a kick out of knowing your post still lives on
(Einsenstat calls that mold the "Triangles Clubs, or Tri-Clubs" mold, btw). |
