Don't know what it's used for. I've been racking my brain to figure out what limit / no limit / type game would be used for this, or if it's used as a drop chip, or in some other game (Chinese poker, 10 buck a point, etc.).

I simply have no idea. They were not in play when I was there years ago, and no one I ask knows or can give me an answer. I was fortunate enough to come across it and another that I'm posting as well.

So, here it is. Looks to be a Chipco, more texture than other chipcos. One cool think about it is a different design on each side.

Possibly. The problem is, they don't / haven't ever ran a $30/60 limit game at that room. (AFAIK)

Further, a $10 or $15 chip would be easier / better for a 30/60 game, versus a 30 chip. Although it's more chips, it would be an easier game to manage.

Great looking chip. I think the 30/60 game idea makes sense as to the reason for the odd denom.

Well a $30 chips would work best for a $60/$120 game, then one $30 is the small blind and 2 x $30 is the big blind etc...

But that isn't a game I have ever heard of but you never know, would seem easier to play $50/$100 with $25 chips instead of making a chip for one game.
