Chips: 256 | | | Re: While in Vegas I stopped at Rio and got... Well with that pic, I guess we know what the red, blue, and green chips will look like. The green is under chip gallery. The red seems to have two different edgespot combos. Maybe there are more combos available than it seems? http://www.pjcccustomizedpokerchips.com/corporate.htm
EDIT: It says " (Any color combination your choice)
Colors for the outer edges can include: red, blue, green, yellow, black, white, pink, purple, orange, light blue, brown, grey & burgundy."

Chips: 10,807 | | | Re: While in Vegas I stopped at Rio and got... Yes, they were freebies. However, the PokerRoom set was not.
Regarding the Desert Palms... Although billed as "clay" chips, it sure has a plastic feel. I only have the one, so weighing it (on an ounce postal scale) will not be very precise. Edges are crisp and sharp.
The vinyl sticker inlay easily peeled off with the aid of a thin sewing needle!
Measures out at 39 mm.
Application of the mold does appear to happen after the basic chip was made. This is note by the appearance of a thin layer of material at the bottom of one letter (on the reverse side iof the scan) that partially covers the bottom of the recess, but is still joined to the wall of the letter.
Thats it.
