Here are some additional Carnival chips...
Where the chips appear to be the same, be sure to look closely at the ships! The ones with the pointy bow is called the newer ship. The center $25 looks to be a white inlay, but it is peach, while the one on the right is light orange. Same with the two $1's to the left of the 20 cent chip. The 20 cent chip was short lived for craps. There is also a 50 cent out there and I need one!
If you look closely at the H&C molds of the two identical $5 chips, you can see one is the long cane version, while the other is the regular version. (Try to see the distance between the hat brim and cane, where they come closest.)
In the early days of Carnival, they used the generic looking design, except the color of the sky denoted from which ship the chips were used on. Before these chips, there was another style that was used. (Nope, I don't have any of those either.) Red was the first color used.
For awhile, Carnival used the orange or peach sky on all their ships, but then started issuing ship specific chips in the $5 denomination. Then they did a few ship identified $1's and $2.50's.
The 20th Anniversary (Chipco, linen finish) has an expiration date; "valid thru 1992". The MS Sensation (Chipco, satin finish) also has an expiration date, as does the Millenium chip (Chipco, satin finish). This same artwork was used on a Millenium chip for Holland America (also owned by Carnival) in a grey tone, looking very ghost-like.
The $5 non negotiable chip is a promotional giveaway, match play chip. The Unicorn mold chip (Chipco) is hot-stamped "$25" on the reverse and I have yet to find out what it was sued for. However, The logo (the ship and spade) belongs to Ocean Player's Club, which is owned by Carnival and operates all the Carnival casinos (The Fun Ships, Costa, Princess, Holland America, Cunard and a couple others).
The Tournament chip is one of 3 denominations of Tournament chips used for the Blackjack Tournaments. I do not have the $500 and $1000.
Here are ship specific chips, mostly already shown, but a few more odds and ends.
Three disfferent $5's per ship. Common reverse is shown at right.
And these...
Top row is a special three chip set to commemorate Inaugural Cruises around the Mediterranean before being positioned here in America. Also shows a $5 and $2.50 from the rack.
I do not have other denominations from the Conquest, Miracle and Liberty.
