1000 chips for Tourny/Ring games

I was thinking of buying the Amercian Beauty set. As most of you know, The set has 7 different colors in it as of right now.....probably will end up with either 8 or 9. What do you guys thnk would be the best breakdown for a 1000 tourny/ring game set??

You could go with Homepokertourneys numbers but you would probably be choosing only 4 colors. If you want more variety, I guess you could mix up your chip colors depending on your mood.

I was thinking 8 to 10 players for both games. I like starting with about 1500 to 2000 in chips and the blinds increasing every 15 to 20 minutes.

4 colors would be all the color you need but with I would throw in all the chips to have a complete set.

I wouldn't go with more than 4 colors. Then alot of your chips will be useless most of the time. Check out my chip breakdown at the bottom of this thread: http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1335 I think you need to sit down and create your own chip breakdown, tournament and cash game structures. Then you will realize how different amounts of chip denominations will work in practise. Good luck!
