Dragonara plaque touney breakdown???

hey Guys, havent posted for long here... now need your help and advice on the needed breakdown for my tourney set of Dragonara plaques i am trying to finish.

INFO:
Number of players: 6 to max 8. most of the times 7.

Number of plaques i already have:
100 x T5
80 x T10
57 x T25
50 x T50
4 x T100
2 x T500

The breakdown i though about:
100 x T5
100 x T10
60 x T25 (will be used only for colouring up all 5s and 10s)
60 x T50
20 to 30 x T100
10 to 15 (probably up to 20) x T500

Staring stacks:
14 x T5
13 x T10
0 x T25
8 x T50
4 x T100
1 x T500

Blind structure:
rd sb bb
1 5 10
2 10 20
3 15 30
4 20 40
5 30 60
6 40 80
7 50 100 (colour up the $5 and $10)
8 75 150
9 100 200
10 150 300
11 200 400
12 300 600 (colour up the $25??? do i need this colour up? )
13 400 800
14 600 1200
15 800 1600
16 1000 2000

Thank you in advance for your help.

Re: Dragonara plaque touney breakdown???

I'd say that T500 is just about feasible 5/5,5/10,10/15 blinds for the first three levels. & you have just about got enough chips for 8 players already. Another 10 x T50 would be nice I agree.

For an 8-max T1000, you need another T4000 of chips. Ideally, 40 x T100 imo.

For an 8-max T1500 (seems to be your aim), I'd get another 8 x T500. So at the end (T12000 in play), you have 10 x T500, 40 x T100, 60 x T50 which looks good to me.

I don't see why you're saving the T25 for colouring up. I'd just have all the lowest denoms out to begin. Also, I don't reckon you need any more T10s.
So 8-max, I'd give 12/9/6/6/4/1
7-max 13/11/7/7/3/1
6-max 14/13/10/9/6/0

T5 x 100
T10 x 80
T25 x 60
T50 x 60
T100 x 40
T500 x 10 looks good to me. If the T100s are obscenely expensive/ unobtainable, replacing some with T50s would work too I think.

Re: Dragonara plaque touney breakdown???

Splendid! Albie, thank you very much for your advice! I really needed it. I will go for that T1500 breakdown you have advised.
T5 x 100
T10 x 80
T25 x 60
T50 x 60
T100 x 40
T500 x 10

The only point i just wanted to clear out... So you think i do not need to colour up the chips right? I just thought as the blinds rise the T5 and T10 just become unneeded, so for 300/600 you would need to push a stack of 60 x 5. If you think that the colour up needed what would you suggest, what level it should be and would i need any additional chips to run it? Thanks!

Re: Dragonara plaque touney breakdown???

You do need to colour up. When it's time to get rid of T5s, you have the chip leader buy up all the T5s then give him a T500 for them (he'll probably need to give you a couple of T10s as well). It's no harder to colour up using your biggest chip instead using the next chip up for the job & you need far fewer chips that way. By the end, T5, T10 & T25 will all have been coloured up.
