Need a 70 chip breakdown for new case

I found a very cool wooden case that holds 70 chips, two decks of cards and two dice (for whatever?) and need a good breakdown for filling it. Am thinking two denoms.

Ideas?

30xT100
40XT500

Each player gets 15xT100 and 17xT500 to start for a T10,000 heads up game.

Re: Need a 70 chip breakdown for new case

I like both of these suggestions so far because they could also work as cash equivalents of $1/5 and .25/1. Such an odd little find too as I've never encountered a 70 count chip case before. Oddly, the packaging says it holds 50 chips.

Keep 'em coming please. I'm going to need to buy chips I think, which scares me since I've been in such a sell mode for so long. Yikes.

Re: Need a 70 chip breakdown for new case

For each player

12x25c=$3 or T300
17x$1=$17 or T2000
24 quarters, 34 ones = $20 or T2000 heads up (58 chips)

12x25c=$3 or T300
17x$1=$17 or T1700
6x$5=$30 or T3000
24 quarters, 34 ones, 12 fives = $50 or T5000 heads up (70 chips)

Andi - Your breakdown questions keep on getting weirder ....

Re: Need a 70 chip breakdown for new case

20 low denom and 50 high denom. That's about as good a heads-up set with 70 chips as I can think of. I'd suggest 5x from low to high denom to get more for your money. Good luck.

Got to keep you on your toes Matthew.

I'm intrigued by the versatility of your 3-denom breakdown.

Re: Need a 70 chip breakdown for new case

I had
24 $25
24 $100
18 $500

for a 12-12-9 T6000 heads up set but I think Matthew's breakdown wins.

BTW Andi, chasing this breakdown led me to trying to acquire 20 Harbor Lights $500s, which led me to getting a rack of Harbor Lights $100s, which led me to getting Mikeyshane's casino tourney set, which led me to getting more $500s than I needed, which led me to getting some more $500s, which led me to getting some Winner Club, which led me to getting some Winner club $1000s, which led me to you.

So watch out it's a slippery slope.
