Chips: 369 | | | Heads Up Set - breakdown help Perhaps the title of this thread should have been "Help the chip geek who doesn't play poker configure a heads up set so he can sell more chips" but I wasn't sure of the space limitations.
What I'm trying to do is assemble a 100 chip heads up set using the $5-$25-$100 denominations. Should the breakdown be 60-20-20, 60-30-10, 50-30-20 or something else?
Thoughts and comments are very much appreciated!
Thanks!

If you do want to use that though I would do 20xT5, 16xT25, 10XT100 for each player, so 40xT5, 40xT25, and 20xT100. |

On a side, how did you become a chip geek if you don't play poker? |

On a side, how did you become a chip geek if you don't play poker? | Long time chip collector who turned set builder probably because if I liked something I got one or two. If I loved something I got 100's of them. I started building many sets; Vineyards, Winner's Circle, New Sonny's, TRK KGB's and PNYs.
I guess I started collecting in the first place because of the eye-catching designs and what the chips represented. Live chips are both money and art, I thought that was cool. |

80 x $25 and 20 x $100
This allows a T2000 (40 x T25, 10 x T100) and a $20 heads up game 40 x 25c and 10 x $1.
Perfect.

Chips: 369 | | | Re: Heads Up Set - breakdown help Great feedback!! Thanks! There's so much I don't know about such a popular game. I'll get there...
I've got a buddy that went to the WSOP in 2005. He has a bi-monthly game and he keeps asking me when I'm coming. I keep asking him when is going to get customs! From the outside looking in it appears to be a game that I could pick up quickly but take some time to really get good. The game appears to be a combination of luck, skill and the ability to read other players. I'm sure there are elements that I'm missing but what do I know?? |

Chips: 20 | | | Re: Heads Up Set - breakdown help My heads up set is 60 x $100 and 40 x $500. With this set you can have a T10,000 match (30 x 100 and 14 x 500, coloring up later) or play for $100 (30 X $1, 14 x $5).

Have you never been tempted to learn the game, after collecting it's fruits for so long? |
