Chips: 904 | | | need breakdown help for 44mm add-ons This is a repost from the custom mock-ups thread since what I really need right now is a breakdown for the chipset additions.
TIA
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm adding 4 44mm chips to The Bear Den chipset.
Trying to establish how many of each to buy. Adding a $20 (lavender 818 ) and non-denom (red 3u) the cash set and a $2500 (imp. blue 4u) and non-denom (grey 312a) to the tourney set. I'll probably use the cash non-denom as a .50 cent, $2 or $10 depending on the game. Not sure about the tourney non-denom - maybe as a $10k or $100k for big stack tourneys. Suggestions for that are also welcome.
Here's the current denom breakdown for both.
The Bear Den (5 cash denoms - 2 non-denoms - 6 Tourney = 13)
100 x 5c White 212 Red
120 x 25c DG Pink 614 White
140 x $1 Imperial Blue 412 Black
120 x $2.50 Light Green 4A12 Imperial Blue/DG Yellow
100 x $5 Yellow 4D12 Purple/Grey
20 x non-denominated Black 614 Lavender/DG Peach
160 x 25 Green 6A14 Black/Yellow
160 x 100 Black 4D14 Lavender/Green
160 x 500 Purple 412 Grey/DG Peach
120 x 1000 Yellow 6A14 White/Imperial Blue
80 x 5000 Chocolate 614 DG Green
20 x 25000 Arc Yellow 4A12 Chocolate/Orange
100 x non-denominated Mandarin Red 4D14 Arc Yellow/Grey
Thoughts? Suggestions?
Thanks.

Chips: 904 | | | Re: need breakdown help for 44mm add-ons Bump - please help - need to get the order in by tomorrow. Am really aiming for versatility for the new chips so want to purchase wisely as far as denoms goes.
Here's the current mock-up that I'm thinking of going with. Still working on getting Kari's images loaded to the CF. Thanks!
$20 - non-denom (cash set) - $2500 - non-denom (tourney)

I guess the minimum is 150. 4 choices, I would get a rack of each one, but that's just me |

50 of each.

Chips: 1,514 | | | Re: need breakdown help for 44mm add-ons Well if I could offer up a small suggestion it would be this....
For the Cash Set ~ I would go with fewer of the $20 chips and more of the non-denom , since I remember reading at different times that your group plays small stakes and your probably not going to see those $20's in play to often, but if the non-denom were used as a $2 or $3 chip they might see more action.
I say 20 x$20 chips and 80 x ND
For the Tournament set I would probably get a balance of them, especially if you use the ND as a big value chip, like T100K unless you are going to play a major major deepstack....like 1Million or more, even then a few of them will go a long way. The $2500 chips, even though they are an "odd" denom to most players, would probably see way more action than your ND, just for the mere fact that it makes a good color up chip for your T5K and T10K tournies.
I say 40 x $2500 and 60 x ND |

Chips: 904 | | | Re: need breakdown help for 44mm add-ons Hey guys. Thanks for the input. I'm glad that my little bribe worked to get some posts over here.
I can't afford a rack of each right now, but do agree that would look best. Here's what I went with, borrowing a bit from all your suggestions.
40 x $20s - lavender 818
80 x non-denoms - red 3u
80 x $2500s - blue 4u
100 x non-denoms - grey 312a
300 total, but since my oversized racks hold 80 each it won't be evenly distributed.
Cheers and thanks again.
