I really like these chips and I'm considering jumping on the pre-order bandwagon. I already have some other paulsons (that I won't use/mix) with this breakdown;
$1 x 100
$5 x 175
$25 x 150
$100 x 75
However when I bought them, the idea was to play 2/4NL, 3/6NL, 5/10NL and 30/60FL as well as tourneys. However we're mainly playing 3/6NL and tourneys so for this breakdown I only need to think about 3/6NL and 5/10NL and since the PNC has a 10 chip, my brain died.
We're maximum 9 players and going for a 500 set. The buy-in breakdown we have today is usually like this;
$1x10
$5x13
$25x9
$100x2
and this works great. If anyone rebuys, they get them in $100s. I know I can just skip the $10 and I am seriously considering it, but if we play 5/10NL a $10 chip is gold.
So I was thinking this will be the new 3/6 buy-in breakdown;
$1x10
$5x8
$10x10
$25x10
$100x1
5/10NL
$5x10
$10x10
$25x10
$100x6
If so, the breakdown will look pretty simple
$1x100
$5x100
$10x100
$25x100
$100x90
$500x8
$1000x2
(Once in a while we have a really wild game and would hate go empty on the 5/10 game. Once I had to break out two $500 chips on the 3/6 game as the avg stack was like 3x buy in and I had no more $100s. With the $500 I have enough 100s for ~3 rebuys and at that point I can introduce the $500 which would give me another 4 rebuys. The $1000 will ensure 2 more buyins and it also looks kickass.)
Does this look reasonable or do you have any other suggestions?
Edit: Damn, it was the $5000 that looked kickass. Ah well...
