Re: Large Stack "Final Table Style" chip breakdown

I voted for the 20-45-30-5 breakdown because it's all in multiples of 5, making it easier for you to set up.

Good luck with this! It should be fun to have that many chips on the table. I think it will promote loosey-goosey play and a bunch of splashing around.

I voted for You're crazy... because who in the hell can afford that many high-quality chips? Otherwise, sounds like great fun and should make everyone feel like a playa!

Re: Large Stack "Final Table Style" chip breakdown

I always envisioned the "final table" as having slightly higher blinds. As it is I think a 25k should start at 100/200-300/600 level.

*Edit-looks like 20k not 25k*
How about this:
25x100
25x500
5x1000

Or if you really want the 25's:

20x25
20x100
25x500
5x1000

*edit for 100 chips*

40x25
40x100
10x500
10x1000

Re: Large Stack "Final Table Style" chip breakdown

I love playing with Tons-O-Chips. Makes me feel like I can afford to lose a han or 2 and still be in the game. I take more risks.

Re: Large Stack "Final Table Style" chip breakdown

Thank JoJo, I'll pm UW85 about his set up...

Thanks to everyone so far that has posted and voted...I have a lot more great breakdowns to run over now...I think I'm leaning a little more toward the 20-45-30-5 set up myself, but not quite sure yet...I'm trying to get this worked out so I know how many to get hot stamped!

I already have a pretty big set of T-molds, so I would not have to add too many more for some of these set-ups.

Thanks for the input so far...Please keep it coming!

oh yeah...do you think that starting with 25/50 blinds will be just too weird with all of these chips??? Would it be better to start at 50/100 or if I make the starting levels say 20 minutes will it still be okay to start at 25/50?

Re: Large Stack "Final Table Style" chip breakdown

For a 6-10 person deep stack, you won't need ante's so I would start at 100/200 and go up from there and just increase the blind timings a bit to compensate. That way you only need to put 100, 500 and 1000 in play and you will only need to do one colour up. You could also add 5000 chips if you like.
