Most efficient use of 630 FC...

Ok... So I've got 630 Faux Clays:

195 red
195 green
190 black
50 purple ( all original btw)

I'm having trouble getting a regular game going, so I have to cover
as many possibilities as I can. It'll be H.E.- Limit, NL and tourneys.
Locals are cheapskates so I figure buy-ins at $10, $20-25, and -Please God-
$50, hell at this point I'd even play 1-2cent but I got no whites.
I figure 10 players, and several rebuys for the cash games - I hope!
I prefer freeze-out tourneys -advice anyone?

I like limit myself, and have driven myself crazy with the chip calc trying to
cover it all.

As an incentive any extra chips would then be put on the market for sale or
trade.....

If I get regular games I can buy specialized sets - and upgrade!

Thanks guys! - AND Gals!

Re: Most efficient use of 630 FC...

You sure can use these chips. I wouldn't sell any of them yet.

For limit games, consider 0.50/1.00 limit with $25 buy-in. Maybe use green = 25c, red = 50c (optional), black = $1, purple = $5 (rebuys).

8G + 16R + 15K = $2 + $8 + $15 = $25

If you don't want to use the reds as 50c, then

16G + 16K + 1P = $4 + $16 + $5 = $25

For no-limit games, consider 10c/25c with up to $20 buy-in. Use red = 5c, green = 25c, black = $1, purple = $5 (rebuys). Such a game could start out with 5c/10c or 10c/25c blinds as desired.

10R + 10G + 7K = $0.50 + $2.50 + $7 = $10; rebuys 2P; blinds 5c/10c
10R + 10G + 12K = $0.50 + $2.50 + $12 = $15; rebuys 3P
15R + 13G + 16K = $0.75 + $3.25 + $16 = $20; rebuys 4P; blinds 10c/25c

For tournaments, you could start with RGK chips for T1000, T1500, T2000 type tournaments starting with 5/10 or 10/20 blinds.

10R+10G+7K = T1000; rebuy 2P
15R+13G+6K = T1000; rebuy 2P
15R+13G+11K = T1500; rebuy 3P
15R+13G+16K = T2000; rebuy 4P

Alternatively, you could use GKP chips for T2000, T2500, T3000 tourneys, starting at 25/25 or 25/50 blinds. Since the number of purple chips you have is limited, these might have to be freeze-out. Color up the greens but leave the black and purple in play throughout a one-table tourney.

16G+16K = T2000; rebuy = 4P
16G+16K+1P = T2500; max 8 rebuys
16G+16K+2P = T3000; max 5 rebuys
12G+12K+5P = T5000; freeze-out

(Optionally make red chips equal to T1000 or T2000 or T2500 for rebuys.)

I'm sure others will have more ideas.

Wow! Thanks!

Really feeling those big starting stacks! The folks around
here seem to prefer them.
You think .50/1.00 limit on a $25 buy-in would work?
I'd have thought it'd make play super tight.
Still doesn't use ALL my chips either so maybe I could
trade some for more cards or at least sample chips.
Get to use all my purples too!

Time to start working on my blind schedules for those tourneys!

Yeah I'm having fun now!

When I play limit I can only handle losing 30BB so 25BB would be fine.
