My small home cash game all of a sudden exploded into the need to expand to a monthly tournament hosting at least 18 people. I have 1000 Sopranos broken down 400 Black 300 Yellow 200 Red 100 Green. If someone could please provide a complete breakdown for 18 people for both T2500 and T5000 with 2 rebuys I would be forever grateful! I'm getting a headache trying to figure out the blinds and chip distros for each!

heres a quick one for T5000

18 player

starting stacks
8x25
8x100
8x500

you could introduce more 500's or even your 1000 chips as rebuys.

with 18, you still have enough for color ups with some left over.

Ok now for the chip value breakdown does it makes the most sense to do:

400 Black $100
300 Yellow $500?
200 Red $25?
100 Green $1000

Does it make sense to make the 300 Yellows $500 or $25 and the 200 Red $25 or $500?

But with this setup of 8/8/8 will players most likely be making lots of change with each other since they only have 8 100s and so many 500s?

What about rebuys? What stacks to reissue on rebuys? I want to make sure I keep enough 100s for color ups and not issue too many out for rebuys. I got that headace again LOL...

take away a 500 and give them more 100's. you have plenty of chips.

there are just so many options.

for rebuys - id issue all 500s or 1000s and let them make change at the table. if they are rebuying someone has enough chips to give them change easily.
