Lightbulb Chip distribution calc sheet

I've been lurking this and some other boards for some time looking for the right offer for some nice chips.
Thus I check out many sets and want to know what player numbers and structures I can play with them.

To help me get a quick overview and also help me create the perfect breakdown for me I created a spreadsheet that I can always keep on hand and can save at will to store good breakdowns.

I thought it might also be useful for some (or most? ) of you who have not yet found your perfect set breakdown or want to evaluate chip set offers you see.
To keep it as portable as possible I used the OpenDocument file format, so wether you are using Windows, Mac OS or Linux you'll be able to use it with OpenOffice.

Please read the description on the download page for additional notes.

Poker chip distribution calc sheet for OOo

Re: Chip distribution calc sheet

Any chance of posting this as an Excel file also? I don't have, and don't plan to get Open Office when I have Microsoft Office. Thanks!

I'm sorry, but i'm working on Linux and I don't plan to convert to Windows and buy M$ Office when I (and everyone else) can have the same for free and can instead buy a custom chip set for the same price.

Either way I'm not sure the interactive, macrofree colorcoding used in the spreadsheet would even be possible to implement with excel.

Installing the Calc/spreadsheet portion of OpenOffice shouldn't be too hard for anyone.

Where exactly can I download just the Calc portion? I've searched the site, but can only find the download for the whole thing.

I'm downloading it as I have cable and it'll only be 5 minutes, but some people on dial-up may not want to download 108 MB's if they already have Microsoft Office. So, if there's a link to just the Calc thing, that would be great! Thanks!

(I'm not putting you down or anything. It's your decision. Thanks for your attempt to help the chip community!)

You download the whole package but during the installation you can choose to install only those components you really want (I think it's the same as with MS Office).

For those who are on dial-up OpenOffice should be available on most computer magazine cds every time there is an update to OOo, at least that's how it is in germany.
