I'm calling on all my chiptalk brothers and sisters. I need to know what you all think about the best breakdown of denominations in a 500 and 300 chip set using the following denominations: $5, $10, $25, $50, $100.
It's a strange request, I know, but I don't really have time to fill you in on the details. After this project is complete, I will share my project.
For right now, I need as much input as possible from as many people as possible.

Five denoms for those values is somewhat unnecessary. Either your cash game has really big stakes or your running a T1000-T3000 tourney with these.

500 chips
200x$5 200x$25 100x$100

500 chips with all denoms
100x$5 50x$10 200x$25 50x$50 100x$100

300 chips
100x$5 160x$25 40x$100

300 chips with all denoms
100x$5 25x$10 100x$25 25x$50 50x$100

I really don't like $10 and $50 denom chips.
But I can't improve on Matthew's breakdowns, if you must have them.
