T100 Blinds schedue and general advice needed

Ok I'm a total poker noob but I love playing the game. I have my own set which allows me to play T1000 & T10,000 games, and I know the blind schedules.

The thing is my brother bought a set with the following breakdown:
White $1 x 150
Red $5 x 150
Blue $10 x 100
Green $25 x 50
Black $100 x 50
The chip distribution sucks and means that you cant really have anything near a T1000 chip distribution for 10 players.

Can anyone come up with a creative T100 chip distribution or blinds schedule to save the day and our family christmas poker tourney?

http://www.homepokertourney.com/blinds_samples.htm

You may have aleady seem this, but if not, it should work with your chipset. You will just have to modify the starting chip stack.

$1 - 15
$5 - 12
$25 - 1

That should leave you 30 $5 chips which colors up the 150 $1 chips perfectly. Would this work?

Re: T100 Blinds schedue and general advice needed

We do a T200 - 15 minute blind - single rebuy per player - so would be close

1/2
2/4
3/6
4/8 - color up 1s
5/10 - no more rebuys
10/20
15/30
20/40 - color up 5s
25/50
50/100
100/200 (usually ends at 50/100 or here)

To do a T100 - have 1/2 and 2/4 go for 30 minutes each and eliminate 3/6

Sorry for the threadjack.

Matthew, is there any tournament structure that you don't play regularly or are at least familiar with?

Back to your regularly scheduled thread conversation...

Threadjack continued....

Friday we only had 4 players and we did out regular T200 but with a few twists.

$10 buy in 10 minute blinds. When it got to heads up, chipleader got $25 and 2nd got $15 - worked out pretty good.

We got 5 tourney's in between 8:30 pm and 12:45 am.

1. NL Holdem
2. PL Omaha
3. NL Crazy Pineapple
4. NL Razz
5. NL Omaha Hi/Lo 8 or better.

Pretty fun night - maybe I'll start a new thread with this post too.

Oh, there was an official second place prize? I thought we were "splitting" just to get everyone back in...f---ing Curt.

First game down to two people, there are $800 in chips in play, I have probaly $550...I tell the second guy(Arrowwood) we can split it, but with my much bigger stack would he mind me getting $25 and him $15....Seemed fair. Next Game down to two me and Curt $800 in play and I have $396 and he has $404 and demands he gets $5 more...I was going to say screw it and play to the finish, but it sucks being out so I gave him eth e$5 to get matt and Phil back in...he tried to give it back after he pretty much figured it was a **** move, but I threw it back at him...$5 and he's scrounging for it...he lost a whole lot more than $5 worth of what little resoect I had for him...which was none really. The original plan was $10 each winner takes all, but we changed it to end them quicker.....

Well that's how it started but it became automatic for the rest of the night.
