I just finished my first PSO promo and would like to hear some suggestions regarding the denomination breakdown. I presently have a set of 500 Desert Sands which have a breakdown as follows:
100*$1
100*$5
100*$25
100*$100
50*$500
50*$1000
Here is what I am thinking for the breakdown for new set:
200*$.25
50*$1
100*$25
150*100

We usually have ten guys out, and stakes for the cash game are pretty low -- more than half the guys buy in for the $20 minumum (.25/.50 NL). We also play tourney, again with about 10 people, but it would be nice if I could have a set that would accomodate another 5-10 for tournaments. By the way, I'm not committed to a particular blind structure, so suggestions are welcome on that too.

You should only need 125 25c chips (12/person leaving 5 extras if any get lost) for your cash game.

I'd put the difference (toward $1's as they'll be your work horse chips). So what I'd recommend you'd order would look like:

125 25c
125 $1
100 $25
125 $100
25 $500
