I hate building sets.

How silly would 300 25c skulls be?

Ok, so when my friends and I play a cash game, it's usually 6-8 handed buying in for anywhere from $10-20. Some people will go to the wallet, some won't. I doubt I'll ever get this group very interested in NL/PL games.

I currently have 2 sets of the standard breakdown skulls (so 200 $1 and 200 $5 which apply to this).

I've cleared my 3rd promotion and am finally going to spend the 100 bucks to customize since I really don't want to have a 300, 300, 150, 150 breakdown.

I'm thinking about getting 300 25c chips which should more than suffice for the game. Using the other 200 chips to build a T5000 chip set for 10 man.

160 - 25 (These will eventually get colored up)
100 -100
40- 500
20 - 1000

Which would make my whole set

300 - 25c
200 - 1
200 - 5
160 - 25
100 - 100
40 - 500
20 - 1000

+ 80 chips to use. I'm sure I could get away with less 25c pieces, but I'm not sure how much it would really help in the Tournament set up at the moment. There's just too many chips that are never going to see action (the 5s, and 1s)

Other slight thought is eventually I should be getting the tiki 300 piece tournament set (or cash set). The tournament set is a nice breakdown for 8 man T5000.

Hmm, could probably just get away with the Tiki cash set honestly 120 - 25c, 120 - $1 and 60 $5 for our games. But the 1000 Tiki chip looks amazing to me.

Ok that was silly long. Any thoughts on the Customization of the 500 set or which Tikis to get in conjuction?

Re: I hate building sets.

If they let you do 2 Tiki promo, a good idea would be to get 2 x 300 Tiki cash set. That would give you plenty of $.25 and $1's for the cash game. Then just go for the Tourn. set with skull's.

Re: I hate building sets.

Yeah, you can only do one promotion unfortunately at ecasino (I think I've done the other sites that offer tikis as well). Here's what I have come up with for a breakdown.

240 - 25c
200 - 1
200 - 5
160 - 25
160 - 100
80 - 500
50 - 1000
10 - 5000

I figure this give me a decent cash set + a tournament set for 10 man T5000 with starting stacks of (16, 6, 4, 2) or (16, 11, 5, 1) Rebuys are also somewhat possible but a little difficult. How's this look?

I've decided to forget about the tikis for now. I'll probably add another 500 piece set to this for tournaments at a later date, but this is what I'm looking at right now. Any suggestions for a future 500 piece addition to round out the tournament set?
