I'm getting tired of our regular T20 tournaments.....
8x.25
10x.50
8x1.00
1x5.00
i'm in the process of ordering my custom ceramics from ABC.Can any of you guys help me out with a breakdown for a T1500 (I'm kinda partial to PS),T2000 or anything that would keep me under 600 chips for my tourney set.I usually host 20 people with one rebuy. If I follow the PS blind structure I would have to incorporate the $5 chip which i am ordering 200 of.I have mock ups of $25,$100,$500 and $1000
the problem is that you want 1/3 of your set to be 5s. 200*t5 = t1000. that's a third of your chips, but only 1/35th of your T-value. i figured out a way to do 650...but not 600.
EDIT: I didn't see the re-buy part in your OP. So the following is moot unless you use the 40 chips to cover the re-buy amounts. i.e. 20 x $1000 and 20 x $500 and give one each to the re-buys. You may be making change alot.
I run my leagues with a T1500 structure with a 20 player max.
Blinds start at $5/$10, 20 min rounds. Games last 3-4 hours depending on # of players.
My chip stacks start as follows:
$5 x 10
$25 x 10
$100 x 7
$500 x 1
=T1500
This may not be ideal (I have 900+ sets that cover color-ups a bit easier) but would probably work...
For 20 player max this is 560 chips. Leaving you with 40 chips to use as color ups. To color up the $5 you need $1000 so add 10 $100's leaving 30 chips. To color up the $25 you need $5000. 10, $500 chips. 580 chips total. Fill in with say $25's and you can color up half of the $5's as needed earlier in the game.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
Well,
If you went with starting stacks of:
10 x 5
6 x 25
8 x 100
1 x 500
---------------------
25 chips/player, T1500
You'd need (for starting stacks)
200 x 5
120 x 25
160 x 100
20 x 500
------------------------------
500 chips so far.
60 more 500's would get you 20 rebuys
10 more 100's would colorup the 5's
30 more 100's would colorup the 25's
----------------------------------------------------
100 chips for colorups and rebuys
============================
600 chips total.

oops....I probably should of added that the 200 $5's don't factor into the 600
With initial blinds of 10/20, and the little blind increasing by increments of ten (if it does) - would it make any sense to use unconventional denominations like 10's and 50's on the low end, instead of 5's and 25's?
