| | | U.S. Poker Championship chip breakdown
I was watching the U.S. Poker Championship and liked the amount of chips and denominations they had at the table for each player on the first day. Does anyone know the chip breakdown? All I know is that they started with 20,000 in chips and used $25, $100, $500, and $1000 chips, but I was not able to make out the breakdown for each chip.  |

Green 100
purple 500
orange 1000
Black 5000
i have no idea. but i think that was the breakdown. they said it on the one of the shows, but i dont have a tivo, and i keep missing the replays.
Edit: Great post, Its on now on ESPN 2. Hopefully its an esp i missed before.

Yeah, you're are right. I was wondering how many of each chip the players were given to start the tournament. Do you happen to remember them saying anything about that? |

OK, they are showing the first episode on ESPN right now and I have a shot of a players starting stack arranged nicely for me on the first hand. Thru the magic of Tivo, I can see its 8 x $25, 8 x $100, 8 X 500, and 15 x 1000.
