Bellagia Replica Breeakdown

For those of you that have already placed your order, care to explain your breakdowns?

I am still struggling to come up with one that I am happy with... I want to do a T1,000,000 for up to 10 people, so I would be interested in mainly the higher denom breakdowns...$5,000 and up, but I am sure other breakdowns would be of interested also...

Here is the link to current orders...

Re: Bellagia Replica Breeakdown

T1000000 = T1000 with 3 zeros

T1000 - probably start 5/10 on blinds - you said 10 players

10 people starting stacks
T5x10 = 50 100 chips needed
T25x10 = 250 100 chips needed
T100x7 = 700 70 chips needed

Rebuys - say 10
10 T100 chips for a rebuy - 100 chips needed
color ups - need to cover (500+2500=3k) is 30 chips (plus 70 buy in plus 100 rebuys = 200 total)

A 1,000,000 tournament for 10 players with 1 rebuy, blinds starting at 5k/10k could be done with
100 T5000 chips
100 T25000 chips
200 T100000 chips

Thats a lot of zeros.

Re: Bellagia Replica Breeakdown

Several ways to have a T$1,000,000 tourney, and you don't need that many chips for 10 players. I'm planning on a "meeeellion dollar" tourney with some big a$$ stacks, so here's what I had in mind:

Starting stack:
10 x $5,000
15 x $10,000
12 x $25,000
5 x $100,000
Total 42 chips each player for T$1MM

Buy for 10 players, with enough for color-ups or rebuys:
100 x $5,000
200 x $10,000
125 x $25,000
75 x $100,000
Total 500 chips

This will also handle a T$500,000 tourney for more players.

Matthew has a more reasonable stack size as an alternative, but we wanna go big!

Looks like this would only be enough to color up the $5k chips...right?

2 rebuys?

I also would like to start with larger stacks 40+ chips...

Issue: I want to include the $10K chip but it just doesn't seem to make sense to me...I keep coming back to this breakdown...

200 x $5K
250 x $25K
50 x $100K

Starting with:
20 x $5K
20 x $25K
4 x $100K

color-up only the $5k chip, no rebuys (really, there is one rebuy, add 40 more $100k chips to get to a total of 5 rebuys)...leaving 280 chips in play Heads-up...

Someone tell me why I should do something different....

Re: Bellagia Replica Breeakdown

This will be my first tourny set so will be going for a lower denomination set. i'm going for 550 chips:

160 x $25
160 x $100
100 x $500
80 x $1000
30 x $5000
15 x $10000
5 x $25000

this will cover a 20 man T5000 with no rebuys with blinds starting at 25-25, more than enough for my home game.

quick question, the two rack choices, will they both fit into a 1000 chip birdcage?

You could get 2 rebuys, or you could color up the $10Ks, but not both. This is a minimum cipset for up to 10 players. If you always have 10 people, then I'd probably get more chips.

You're right, the $10K chip doesn't make sense, but I included it just because it was available!

For the most players for your money, I'd also go with the 5-25-100K chips. I'd use a starting stack of 10-18-5, then color up the 5s to finish with just the 25s and 100s at the end. You could handle 14 players/rebuys with 500 chips by getting 140-280-80.

Thanks for sharing!!!! I think only the 5x20 racks will fit the birdcage...

Generally have 8 players...only 2 rebuys at the most...if I had more than 10 I would use my Pharaoh's. I want 10 max deep stacks with a total of 500-550 chips...I think I have my answer...THANKS!!!

I'm doing a T10,000 tourney for 18 players (1 rebuy/add-on)

$100 - 275
$500 - 210
$1000 - 115
$5,000 - 50

650 total chips

Starting blinds at 100/200

Starting stacks:

$100 - 15
$500 - 9
$1000 - 4

Re: Bellagia Replica Breeakdown

for a 1m tourney for up to 10 players I would do a 500 piece chipset:
250 x 10k = 2.5m
175 x 25k = 4.375m
75 x 100k = 7.5m
-------------
500 chips totaling 14.375m

This would be my favorite 1m setup for up to 10 players:
chips per player
25 x 10,000 = 250k
10 x 25,000 = 250k
5 x 100,000 = 500k
---------------
40 chips and 1m per player totaling 10m in play with 4.375m left for color ups (see below).

chips remaining for color ups
75 x 25k = 1.875m
25 x 100k = 2.5m
plenty here to color up the 10k chips.

I leave off the 5k chip and have the 10k chip as lowest denom in order to maximize my chipcount. I start out blind level 1 with the small blind and big blind both at 10k (to accommodate not having a 5k chip) and then level 2 would be 10k/20k.
