Re: Consolidated Poker Chipset Breakdown Data

NJ Desert Sands (ceramic)

Cash Set:

200 x 25¢
200 x 50¢
180 x $1

T-1000 Tourney Set:
100 x $5
100 x $10 (it seems most people think these are unnecessary, but it makes the lower limits MUCH easier to play AND keeps tons of $5's off the table.)
100 x $25
100 x $100
20 x $500

Re: Consolidated Poker Chipset Breakdown Data

Cash Game Set (Samurai Palace) - 500 chip case which holds 550 chips

I have 750 chips total.

I play in two cash games:

$40 buy-in $0.25 / $0.50 NL Hold'em game

and

$100 buy-in mixed game

NL Game

160 x $0.25
160 x $0.50 (I use the NCV chips)
180 x $1
20 x $5

I have 15 extra NCVs, 20 extra $1 and 5 extra $5 plus a few $25 chips on the side

NB: I sometimes play Limit hold'em or Omaha Hi / Low (also limit); hence the need / desire for an equal amount of small blind and big blind chips

For my other game, I swap out the $0.25 for $5 and $25 chips

200 x $1
150 x $2 (NCV again previously used as $0.50 chips)
100 x $5

I have 25 extra NCVs, 50 extra $5 and 25 extra $25 chips for rebuys

T10,000 Tourney Set (Paulson Pharoahs)

225 x $25
150 x $100
75 x $500
75 x $1,000
25 x $5,000 (I use the Blue NCV)

I realize I probably could swap 25 of the $25 for 25 more $100s but sometimes our tourneys have 15-18 people so we play T2,500 or T3,000 and therefore need more $25 chips.
