Mixed bag of Paulsons...

Used for 8 person tournaments:
Starbursts / 120 / (T25)
St Jo $100's / 200 / (T100)

12-25
22-100
--------
T2500

exactly enough blacks to color up ( I think)
Could use another denom sometime soon if our group gets tired of pushing around stacks of blacks all night.

Adjusted the numbers somewhat with addons.

315 x 100
220 x 500
160 x 1000
50 x 5000
7 x 25000

Breakouts
10 players (16, 21, 5)
16 players (12, 12, 7)
20 players (8, 13, 7)
30 players (8, 8, 6, 1)

For a T10000, just add a 5k chip to each stack. For color ups, I can color up all the 25, 100 and 500 chips.
Also, came up with this fun scenario.

14 players T25000 (52 chips each)

16 x 25
16 x 100
10 x 500
8 x 1000
2 x 5000

Blinds start at 25/50 and roughly double every round.

Re: Chipset breakdown data

Currently, my chips consist of 3 sets of Dice Composite chips from Wal-Mart. (Sad, I know.)

1600 Chips total
350 - White
300 - Blue
300 - Red
300 - Green
350 - Black

My friends and I are poor, so we play 1/2 cent no limit cash games. Whites are a penny, blue's 2 cents, red 5, green a quarter, and someday, the black dollar, lol. For tourneys (which seldomly involve any type of a buy-in), I've played around with many different structures and haven't found one I truly love. One of my favs for my 4-6 person tourneys would be a T5000, 40 Green 25's and 40 Black 100's. I just like having lotsa chips in play. Eventually I introduce White 500's, but it's a fun little tourney.

I've ordered 1000 Faux Clay chips which should be here within a week or so, and here's the breakdown:

200 - White
200 - Red
200 - Green
200 - Black
100 - Purple
100 - Blue

I haven't really thought about how I want to break these down for cash games or tourneys, but I just had to get some as they were so cheap!

Finally, I've been eye-balling the WSOP 2006 chips from Epokerdeals.com, and have been thinking very hard about the structure I want. I was thinking of a 300 Chip set (as I can't afford the 5000 chips I'd like, lol).

300 Chips total
100 - Yellow 1000's
100 - Lavender 5000's (I don't like the new 2006 5000's or 25000's)
50 - Black 10000's
50 - Beige 50000's

I figure I could start everyone with 10 yellows, 10 lavenders, and 4 blacks for a T100000. Enough yellow and lavenders for 10 initial buy-ins, and the beige could be used for rebuys and addons. By the end of a tourney there would only be black and beige on the table, with up to 3 million chips on the table. I just think it'd be really cool !!!

Sorry for the long winded explanations on chips I don't have yet, but I just couldn't help myself!

Played a T3500 with 5 people this weekend, and have to say, slapping down 10 high chip stacks of blacks was fun.
I kept coloring up while other people held onto their T25's, which bothered me, so I went on a hyper aggressive blind-steal tear to steal everyone's T25's to color them up myself.......more blacks.........yum

Re: Chipset breakdown data

If this is still being tabulated:

ASM (Cash set):
.25 (Gray) = 200
$1 (Chocolate) = 300
$5 (Orange) = 300
$25 (Pink) = 80
$100 (DG Yellow) = 20
[i]Bank =

NJ Custom Ceramic (tournament set)
T25 = 200
T100 = 200
T500 = 100
T100 = 100

Blue Chip (Cash Set) - on order
.25 (White) = 200
$1 (Blue) = 200
$5 (Red) = 160
$25 (Yellow) = 80
$100 (Black) = 10

I'm thinking about switching my ASM to be my regular tournament set and moving from T2000 to T100.

Re: Chipset breakdown data

Funny that this thread was revived as I was just considering adding to it myself, but wasn't sure whether Matthew was still compiling statistics.

Here goes. Please don't make too much fun of my mostly unplayable by conventional standards chipsets.
