hey all, just wanted to say I had my first tourney last night w/ my new WSOP replica's. Everyone loved them. Of course I busted early, so myself and 3 others who played tremendously generous to the other players decided to play a $10 buy-in no limit game. I used the same chips as the tourney, with 25 being a quarter, 500 being fifty cents and 1000 being a dollar. 12x25 10x500 and 1000x2. worked great. I'm thinking I could use 5000 as $5 and 10,000 as $10.

Any opinions?

But of course you can! You just need to be careful if you expand this side game. It's usually wise to use a different set for security reasons in a money game.

funny, I thought about that after I posted this thread. very true. But if the greens are raced off by then, I should be okay.

I would be worried about a high value tourney chip being brought over by another player- 2-3 1000, or a 5000 would dramatically change the money when everyone was cashing out. And if your the host and cash out last like I always do then the host is the one who gets short changed!!

1994 was the year I developed my teaching skills. I was placed in a first grade classroom and spent the entire year watching them develop. It was truly magnificent. This time fostered in me a love and desire for teaching. Now if I could only go back knowing what I know now and do it all over again.
