I am looking to order a small set of 100 chips soon. Knowing little to nothing about proper breakdowns or denominations, I could use some suggestions. I'm completely unsure about bow to break down the chips. As far as denominations, I'm thinking along the lines of T25, T100, and T500(There may be better?).

Any kind souls care to help?

When my roommate and I play heads up, we start with T10,000 in this break down:
T100 - 50
T500 - 10
For a total of 110 chips. We start with 100/200 blinds though the games don't usually last very long, we usually just play like that to get our minds off homework for a while.

You could do a T10,000 with exactly 50 chips each:
8x $25
28x $100
14x $500

There's a good section on heads-up tournaments at HPT (http://www.homepokertourney.com/heads-up.htm). If you want to go with T25, T100, and T500 denoms, you can go with a 12 (T25), 12 (T100), 17 (T500) chip breakdown. That would give each player 41 chips and T10,000 total.
