Purchasing 600 (650 really, have 50 no denoms i just can't let go of after seeing the final color setup heh) custom BR Pro's next month for a cash game set. Going to break it down like this:
Few things, of note. Alot of the planning was done around how i was planning to set up my poker room. I intend to eventually build an 8 man round and then an 8 man oval for a second table (at which time i'll buy more chips to add on for a tourney set). I have no intention of running an underground card room and my personal preference for cash games is 8 players max so that's how many i set the set up for. I'll have exactly enough chips for the maximum amount of players for either a .25/.50 game or a .50/1. I rounded out the 600 with $5 chips that i'll be using mostly for rebuys. I like to play with alot of chips but for rebuys i'd prefer to have people buy off of other players. $5 is large enough that it's not a hassle to break down but small enough so you don't really dwindle down the size of someone's stack (5 stacks of 20 .25c chips are far more intimidating than 5 $5 chips

)
For a .25/.50 w/ $20 buy-in, unlimited rebuys (option of re-buying in for $20 or whatever the small stack is if it's over $20) (this is our normal game) the breakdown would be:
- each player would start with 40 x .25 and 10 x $1
- leftovers would be 0 .25 chips, 80 $1 chips (unused), and 120 $5 which would be $600 in chips for rebuys (should be more than enough)
For a .50/$1 $40 buy-in, unlimited rebuys (option of re-buying in for $40 or whatever the small stack is if it's over $40) the breakdown would be:
- each player would start with 20 x .25, 20 x $1, and 3 x $5
- leftovers would be 160 .25 chips (unused), 0 $1 chips, and 96 $5 chips which would be $480 in chips for rebuys (should be more than enough)
Couldn't think of a more efficient way to break it down, 500 wasn't enough and 750 was too much (i was keeping how i'd store them as a factor as well heh).
