We cerainly already have the correct color theme for a MCE tool.
I'd say let's letLego work out any programming kins, then we can move on to interface.

Your calculator looks much nicer than the Excel workbook I have been using.
Wish I had found it sooner. |

I've been too busy lately to make much progress on it, but I am working on an update. I'll add the $2.50 chip, and am working on getting the lower multi-game table going. After that, I plan to work on some algorithms to auto-suggest starting stacks based on the "chips on hand". At some point, I'd like to add some blinds structures. Oh, and I think the colorup calculations can be improved.

i like the calc a lot, and cant wait till you get on to the improvments you speak of...it is the best of the chip calcs out there in my humble opinion..
what about a setting for cash game set ups...?
how about limit vs no-limit tourney set ups???

1malt | I think the colorup calcs are accurate, just too simplistic. There's a thread around here somewhere... As it stands now, the breakdown calculator just computes the number of the next-higher-denom chip you'll need to eliminate the lower denoms. For example, it calculates the number of $25 chips you'll need to replace the $5 chips. (And subsequently, the number of $100 chips you'll need when it comes time to replace all the $25 chips) Several members have found that you can be more efficient chipwise if you use more than one denom during the colorup process. For example, when coloring up the $5 chips, you could use a few $100 chips and a few $25 chips. This seems like a good idea to me, since it accomplishes the same goal, but requires fewer chips.
And yes, I'd like to add support for limit games. I've been watching the breakdown threads that deal with those games, and several members seem to have good breakdowns that don't require racks and racks of chips, yet are quite playable. It shouldn't be too tough to turn those designs into algorithms for the calculator.

Chips: 29,466 | | | Re: Chip Breakdown Calculator ** Version 0.6 (Web Based!) now available ** New Update! Version 0.6 is now available. Breakdown Calculator v0.6
The Game Variety table is now active. The purpose of this table is to store the calculator's results for up to six different games. You can then reload any of those saved games back into the calculator.
In addition, the Game Variety window will tell you if your chipset can handle each of those games.
Otherwise, the basic calculator is unchanged from v0.5, except I've added some additional denoms and colors.
Let me know how this works for you!

I'd like to request the addition of a $50 denom, please The 2500 seems to be absent as well.
