Looks neat. Somewhat similar to the spreadsheet(s) I have around for figuring out what chip breakdowns I'd need.

If I actually had the time and motivation, this might be something I'd be interested in making as a standalone app (and something to motivate me to learn various Windows UI programming, possibly GTK so it would work on different platforms). I'm sure it wouldn't be anything too complex, but with the majority of my time split between work and school (and sleep) I just don't think I could do it.

I think I spend too much time fiddling with numbers just to figure out possible chip sets Not that anybody here would think that.

you should be able to change any of the values in the blue cells.
i protected the rest to keep it as simple as possible.

if you want to make edits elsewhere PM for the password.

i get that that's how it's supposed to work. but i can't edit the blue cells either.

That is odd.
I d/l it and am able to edit the blue cells without password.
the only exception is the # of players cell which has a drop down menu

is there anyone else that has this problem?

i've now tried it on two different machines, that have different versions of XP, on different networks (as if that'd matter).

i can use the pulldown, but can't edit any other cells.
