Plastic cards are a good one...I swear that when I walked into the room with Copags/Dal Nagro/Kem cards 3 people immediately said 'are those plastic cards?'and everyone at the table commented on how nice they were before the night was over.
Bringing in nice chips was good, too and there was a great moment of one of the players in mid-shuffle of his chips saying "wow, this feels just like a casino" but the cards were probably the most dramatic & immediately noticable change.
They absolutely love the dice chips I have. One participant even went so far as to say "These are the best chips I have ever used.". I was floored by the comments. Just wait until I can afford some Paulsons.
By the looks of it, new cards may be the best way to spice up the weekly games without breaking the bank.

The guys I play with are pretty impressed with the Dice, although the Paulson I had (a sample set) drew rave reviews when we used it as a dealer button when we had to open another table. Can't yet afford a full set of Paulsons, so TD will have to be my wow 'em gag for now, though perhaps soon some plastic cards as well. Especially since there's been some beer issues with the cards in recent weeks....
